On Saturday 29th September SSTIE, mounted its biggest ever street campaign for a People’s Vote in Sevenoaks, Tonbridge and Westerham. (See photos)
We noted that more younger people are engaging with us and obtained 74 signatures for the People’s Vote while giving out hundreds of leaflets.
SSTIE are not blind to those who take a totally different view but we observe that a number of people who voted leave are now more prepared to engage, to discuss , to seek information and in various cases these discussions finish with a handshake after an interesting conversation.
“Thanks for doing this for us” is now a recurring theme as the pressure mounts for a People’s Vote on the final deal with an option to Remain in the EU.
